NSM Scholarship recipients announced

NSM 2008-2009 Scholarship recipients have been announced. Congratulations to these great students, I am sure they have worked very hard for it and they deserve this financial assistance. Although I did not make it this year, I believe that I have not worked as hard as last year. Hopefully I will work harder this year and receive this honor. This leads me to another thought: what would count as good volunteer work?
- Google Summer of Code?
- Opensource project of some kind
- Persuade Dr. K to release BibSync
- Write an awesome app for GPhone or iPhone
There are actually many things that I can do in life. I would never have enough time to do them all. I guess I should focus on what matters the most to me right now: get smart and get my PhD.
